All Links are active now, sorry for the long wait. Also, some of you may be aware that I am also the owner/designer of the website http://www.graphinee.com. Soon (I am unsure as to how soon), valerietheriault.com will be linked to Graphinee.com and both sites will be merged. I am doing this because it is very difficult to updated two websites without failing one of them. Another reason is that I built Graphinee.com over 6 years ago and I have grown very fond of it and it's name. Valerietheriault.com will still exist because I wish to keep a website with my name, but it will no longer be known as such.

April 5th 2010

If not everything is as updated by April 6th 2010, please be patient, I'll try to fix everything by the end of this week.

A long over-due update is required. The layout has been modified with easy access to my newest creations or work in progresses. The work in progress page contains two pictures I've been working on but completely ignored and another that I am in love with at the moment because of the new movie that's coming out... one of Ezio Auditore from the new Assassin's Creed game, (which is an amazing game btw, you should check it out if you're into that kind of stuff), the other of a boy blowing bubbles (yes, that's my layout picture, it's actually not finished yet.), and lastly, Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm street! Except he's drawn with the traditional pencils and paper.

Also, my fanart no longer directs you to deviantart because I've decided to simply post it here, less trouble etc. Therefore, the gallery is now separated in two different sections, now, digital and traditional. For my traditional gallery, two pictures have been added. My famous Heath Ledger/Joker picture I drew a while back is included there now. Also, I added to that section a picture of Scarecrow/Cillian Murphy from Batman Begins.

For the digital part of my gallery, I added two pictures also, one of Altaïr Ibn La'Ahad from the first assassin's creed (an older yet quite nice picture) and the other of Poison Ivy from Batman (based on some pictures from Arkham Asylum).

Hm. Oh yes, there's a new link at the top; Older pictures, were you can check out some pictures I did when I was like 14-15 years old. Ahh they bring memories, and some are quite um, ugly, to put lightly. Anyways, check them out if you're interested, or bored.

July 8th 2009

School and exams are over! That means I can get back to drawing and updating my website as soon as possible! If you remember the two baby boys I was commissioned to draw, you can see them online now. Of course the picture was drawn quite a while back, I just never got the time to put it up. Secondly I've got a digital drawing of a soldier, you'll find him under the digital drawings section of my gallery of portraits. Lastly, I've been working on some new mediums. I tried out Watercolor painting for the first time in my life and success! It was a school project, I had to reproduce the painting of a famous artist.

Unfortunately, I completely forgot to write down the name of the artist, or the painting for that matter. All I know is that he's a famous German painter. So please, take a look at it and help me figure out who it is. Send me an email if you can.
